Rick Ross' Port Of Miami finally made it to store shelves yesterday, so any of you who didn't get around to downloading it when it leaked onto the internet last week should go cop it if you're interested in hearing some cocaine raps. And I know some of you are.

The various reviews I've found out there more or less reinforce my expectations for this album: some solid beats, average rapping and zero reality. These days, that's good enough to move 150,000 units in the first week but I would be surprised if this album ever reaches platinum status. That being said, there's a decent chance I'll go pick it up eventually. Rick Ross isn't the type of rapper I'll bump in my headphones and analyze his every word, but it'll get the job done whenever I need to live out my Tony Montana fantasies, riding down suburban streets with it knocking out of my car stereo.

Of course, no rap album release would be complete these days without the requisite beef. In this case, it looks like Rick Ross is unhappy with Slim Thug calling himself "the Boss." For the record, Slim Thug's been claiming the Boss label for a minute now. This may actually be less interesting than the Khia/Trina dog cat fight.

Here's a love song about Rick Ross' current girlfriend, a kilo of coke, from the Jeezy vs. Rick Ross mixtape:

Black Mobb

If you've got three minutes to spare, SOHH has an interesting video interview up with "Hip Hop Cop" Derrick Parker, one of the founders of the NYPD's Hip Hop Task Force. Reading between the lines, it seems like he is suggesting that Busta, Loon and O.D.B. were snitching. What about this guy? Anyway, click here to see the video.
