It's been a couple of years since we've had a chance to spotlight anything from Philly's DJ Skipmode, but he's apparently back on his grind as we've recently gotten two different submissions. Up for today is a new blend from the Electric City DJ, mixing 60's psychedelic folk band Sunforest's Magician in the Mountain with Main Source's Live at the BBQ. It's tough to top the original beat that Nas used to break onto the scene, but the Sunforest beat fits in rather nicely:

And if you didn't get it already (though you would have if you've been checking for my admittedly infrequent twitter updates), be sure to grab Skipmode's recent 80's mix Word to the Third. It's got everything from Public Enemy to Cameo, but the real old school heads will appreciate the inclusion of Dismaster Crew's Small Time Hustler. Go get it:
