I've never been a particularly big fan of Sage Francis' - something that has less to do with his music and more to do with my own avoidance of all things related to anticon - but my opinion of him softened after he served up a well-deserved airing out of Serch. One of his songs that I actually do like (almost as much as the infamous PETA freestyle) would be Hoofprints in the Sand, off of his 2007 album Human the Death Dance. The song was recently remixed by L.A.-based producer The Nucc, and while the lyrical references now seem a bit dated (the debates over vaccinations and euthanasia might have seemed important in '07, but they hardly can compare with the global menace of Somali pirates, right?), the new beat is kind of dope.
