Cam'ron just put out the first mainstream hip hop song to address the recession in a meaningful way. I can't say that I saw that coming.
Speaking of Dipset, can someone name a hip hop song with a weaker hook than Jim Jones' new single We Gettin' Money Like? Ever? I was bumping Hot 97 in the ride earlier today while I was at a stoplight, the weather was about as nice as it gets for January in New Jersey so I had the windows cracked a bit. The music was loud enough for other people in the vicinity to hear it, and then that song came on with the "Na Na Na" chorus. Straight embarrassing, b.
