We're going to take a brief hiatus from the usual Zilla Rocca Remix posting that would normally occur about this time (don't sweat it though, next week's Bring Me the Remix... entry will be worth the wait) and instead offer up some new music from two of Zilla's associates, Nico the Beast and 2ew Gunn Ciz. First up, we've got North Philly's Ciz, who, as you can see from the above flyer, will be performing in his hometown with Joell Ortiz on Friday Night at The Fire. If you're not familiar with Ciz, here's a taste of what you'll be hearing at the show:

Ciz is one of the (growing number of) artists that I've been meaning to feature more of on this site. Hopefully I'll get a chance to rectify that in the future, but in the meantime I highly recommend grabbing a copy of his mixtape Tailgating: The 3 Second Rule, which features a pretty great remix of Lefleur Leflah Eshkoshka.
As for Clean Guns' better half, Nico the Beast, he's got a new mixtape coming out on Monday, Dinner Is Served - which, at least titularly speaking, is something of a successor to the previous Feed the Beast series. To celebrate its release, Nico will be performing at Philly's Liquid Charm on Saturday night with Slim DSM. I'll have more to say on Dinner is Served next week, but so far everything I've heard from it has been dope.
