In this latest musical installment from Chicago's Nico B, the Record Playas' emcee hits us off with a story about a relationship in the final stages of its breakup-to-makeup (to breakup) cycle. As with all of his recent tracks, Nico benefits from some great production work, this time with a beat from DJ Mind. Here's hoping for Nico's sake that the girl in the above photo - which, according to him, was not photoshopped - is his current girlfriend and not the inspiration for this song. Peep:

Nico plans to release six more songs over the next few weeks, with the idea being that we'll have a free EP's worth of music by the time he's done. As another Nico showed us recently, it's a great way for artists to showcase their skills and stay on top of their game, so perhaps we'll see more emcees begin to put out weekly releases. The next installment from Nico B will feature a sample from legendary salsa singer Héctor Lavoe, so keep an eye out for that sometime next week.
