Over the past two years, Mally From the 612, the most promising emcee to come out of Minnesota since the Rhymesayers (actually, I don't even think that comparison does him justice, but I know how many of you like Brother Ali so I'll leave it at that), has been featured on this site enough times that I've already told you allyou needto know about him. One of the only emcees who can rap for four minutes straight without a hook and still leave me wanting to hear more, Mally's had a busy summer. He's graduated from college, put out a tremendous sophomore album, and followed it up with one of the best singles of the year, Ghost Town.
The summer's rapidly coming to an end, but Mally's not done yet. Teaming up with Abrasive B, Malik hits us off with another dope track that includes some real talk about phony rappers and the blogs that support them. Like I told y'all, "The best rappers don't fire chrome." Peep:
I know some of you are still sleeping on this kid, but I strongly recommend that you download his album The Moment. It's filled with that real hip hop, it's dope, and it's free. Go cop it!
