It's not often that producers submit material to this site, but on the rare occasion that they do their work tends to be quite good. The latest beat tape submission comes from Amsterdam, Holland, via producer Grimy Suspect, and I think you'll find that it lives up to the high standard of quality that previous featured producers have set. Coming in at just under fifteen minutes, The Concept is short enough that it never gets monotonous - a problem that more than one beat tape has had in the past - but still manages to pack in a wide variety of beats, from head-nodders to more upbeat cuts for the club. Here are two tracks from the tape (the editing is a little choppy on my part, just grab the full beat tape to hear each instrumental in their proper form):

Grimy Suspect - I Can't Help It

Grimy Suspect - Not Thinking Straight

His beats remind me a lot of the stuff that Bless 1 and the Digital Invaders (featured on this site a few times in the past) put out last year. Perhaps not coincidentally, both Grimy and the majority of the D.I. crew hail from Europe, where it seems many producers have thankfully ignored the direction U.S. hip hop has gone since Y2K, instead taking their cue from the sample heavy era of the mid 90's.

I suppose that's one distinct advantage that underground producers, particularly overseas producers that have a little distance between themselves and the copyright lunacy that's been raging here in the states since Fear of a Black Planet came out, have over mainstream producers; without having to worry about paying the extortion fees for royalties, there's really nothing preventing them from using any sample that they want. It may not always sound as polished as what you'll get from a major production studio, but it's almost always more interesting to listen to.
