Julien's Originals has a bunch of samples that various hip hop songs have been using. As he says on his homepage:
Recent music like hip-hop or house is mostly based on music from the 60s, 70s, and early 80s.
The recycling of old stuff through sampling should be seen as evidence of the talent and creativity from those days
So there you go. Check out Galt McDermot's Space sample, which was used for Busta Rhyme's Whoo Hah!. Hard to believe they actually made a hot track out of that.
