Jojo Pellegrino - Bada Bing Bada Boom
The above is a new (update: or possibly old, see the comments section) track from Staten Island's Jojo Pellegrino. I'm not sure if this is a mixtape track or a cut from the actual album, but Joey says his LP, Flawless Execution, is due out sometime in the next couple of months. I don't know how likely that is considering the album's been delayed for almost nine years, but now that he's moved on to his own label perhaps it will finally see the light of day. Given the fact that the official single for this album dropped last September - Mambo Mash Out, a song that never managed to get the attention it deserved - I won't get too optimistic about the chances of that happening, however.
Jojo obviously doesn't have the same buzz that he did at the turn of the millenium, back when he was getting name-dropped by Jay-Z and appearing on Grand Theft Auto soundtracks, but his flow is still crazy and he's got rhymes for days. If Flawless Execution is anywhere near as good as his last mixtape, it may actually have been worth the wait.
