I've got a new track from Pacewon, formerly of the Outsidaz, and Mr. Green, a producer who's worked with Matisyahu and C Rayz Walz. This track, Children's Song, features a sample of children singing (appropriately enough, given the title) which may grate on your ears after a few listens, but I have to say it's great to finally hear a new song from Pace. Check it out:

Pacewon and Mr. Green - Children Sing

The song is a promo for the duo's upcoming album, When Making a Business Decision, the Only Color that Matters is Green, which will be coming out early next year on Raw Poetix Records. From the other songs I've heard off of it, the album sounds very reminiscent of the Jersey style of hip hop that was coming out during the 90's. I have very high hopes for this one.

For more information on the album, stop by Mr. Green's blog. Be sure to check out Pace and Mr Green's MySpace page as well, where you can listen to some of their other new songs along with a bunch of audio interviews, including one in which Pacewon explains the origins of his name (the late Slang Ton used to call him "Patience").

And if you're not familiar with Pacewon, here are two of his best joints:
