Junk Science - Hey
This is the new video from Embedded Music's Junk Science (previously featured on this site
here and
here). The video, featuring puppet work and stop-motion animation by
Beans and Bueller, is unlike anything you're likely to ever see in a hip hop video. Props to Embedded Music for once again coming with something creative. The hosts on MtvU didn't seem to like it, but I thought it was pretty dope. Should you feel particularly motivated, you can go over to
MtvU's site and vote for the video.
Two other promos I got in the mail today:
Erykah Badu - Honey produced by 9th Wonder (Windows Media Link)
Not something I would normally mess with, but the idea of Erykah Badu working with 9th Wonder is kind of intriguing to me.
Wyclef Jean - Carnival II: Memoirs of an Immigrant
This is a link to the full album, which you can listen to for free over at AOL. I've only listened to a handful of tracks on the album so far, but what I have heard has been disappointing. I'll probably still end up buying the CD, because the original
Carnival remains one of my favorite albums, but I don't have high hopes for it.
