Gobble Gobble (Thanksgiving Jam) (to the tune of the 504 Boyz Wobble Wobble)

With a little over twenty four hours to go before Thanksgiving, it looks like it's time for another round of holiday-themed hip hop videos. While I was able to find rap from the country of Turkey (well, sort of), I wasn't able to turn up many songs related to the actual bird behind Thanksgiving. So what follows is a random assortment of rap that deals with the various trappings of the holiday, with a heavy emphasis on food-related rhymes:

Fat Boys - All You Can Eat

MF Doom - Hoe Cakes
You may not be eating Hoe Cakes on Thursday, but you'll probably be thinking "Mm...Food," the title of Doom's album.

Tribe Called Quest - Ham 'N Eggs

Outkast - Ain't No Thang (But a Chicken Wing)
Chicken wings, turkey legs, close enough.

D'Angelo - Brown Sugar

Beastie Boys - Egg Man

Papoose - Soul Food

Dead Indians - Stank B****
The Dead Indians are a Native (North) American group based out of Canada. This is probably a good time to acknowledge the darker side of Thanksgiving, the start of what could arguably be defined as an American genocide.

Cam'ron - Let Me Know
The (admittedly tenuous) link to the holiday here is the Monday Night Football theme music that Cam uses for the beat. What would Thanksgiving day be without NFL games featuring the Cowboys and the Lions?

Jay-Z - Roc Boys
S.Carter finishes off the list because, when you get right down to it, Thanksgiving is all about giving thanks. Most importantly, "thanks go to you, the customer."

A few other tracks didn't make the cut due to my inability to find YouTube links for the songs. Among them, Basswood Lane's Ciabatta Bread, the Waistline Connection's Chow Down (a parody of Westside Connection's Bow Down), DJ Yoda's Food and Lupe Fiasco's soon-to-be-leaked cheeseburger anthem, Gotta Eat.

Update - The Commissioner had a few more:

Ghostface Killah - Nutmeg

Domino - Sweet Potato Pie

Sir Mix-A-Lot - Buttermilk Biscuits
