It seems I'm a few weeks late on this, but I just came across a link (via
Low-bee) to a rather extensive mix of breaks that DJ Shadow used for
The Private Press and
Endtroducing. The hour-long mix, put together by blogger/dj Fraykerbreaks, is a pretty amazing display of crate digging. If you're a DJ Shadow fan, or a fan of break records in general, you need to go cop this one.
You can stream the full mix over at
nachopancho.net (there's also a link to download the full set).
My favorite song off of the mix is the second track,
I Cry in the Morning, by
Dennis Olivieri. DJ Shadow sampled it for the song
Six Days, off of
The Private Press album.
