Three the Hard Way featuring White Flash - The Mob

Earlier today I was reading an old interview with Big L, in which he mentioned that he originally started out in a group called "Three The Hard Way," in his days before joining up with the Children Of The Corn. After work, I started searching for tracks from the group, but the only thing I came up with was the above video from YouTube. As it turns out, it has nothing to do with Big L, but I feel like this is a video you all need to check out.

So much to love about this video: the matching outfits, the Kid 'N Play dance routines, the public access backdrop...classic hip hop from the late 80's. The highlight is undoubtedly the Italian DJ, named "White Flash," playing the background until the cameraman zooms in on him during a lyrical reference to the Mafia, performing one-handed scratches on a set of turntables that don't even seem to be hooked into the sound system (the record he's cutting up is the intro to LL Cool J's I'm Bad). I can't front though, the MCs are actually kind of nice, and I probably would have played this song out back when I was in middle school if I had heard it.

I tried to dig up some details on this group, but all I could find out is that they're from Connecticut. And they're definitely not the group that Big L came up with. If any of you know more about them, please leave a comment.
