I've got two online radio shows (or "podcasts," for those of you down with internet buzzwords) that I wanted to spotlight today:
The first show comes from my man Griff, the founder of
Rhymecity (among other things), who's been working with Def Jux MCs
Mr Lif and Akrobatik on the weekly Yo! Football Radio show. The sports analysis is surprisingly thorough, and it's a nice change of pace from the shouting matches that the usual sports radio shows have devolved into. As you'd imagine from a production hosted by Lif and Akrobatik, the show incorporates some hip hop tracks into the mix as well, so you might want to check it out even if you're not a sports fan.
Here's a link to this past week's show:

Seeing as it's already Sunday night, I'm a little late on the link for this week's show, though there's an interesting discussion with
Davey D that's worth checking out. A new show is put up every week, so if you're an NFL fan, keep an eye out for the upcoming shows. You can find links to download each new episode over at the
Yo! Football Radio MySpace page.
The second podcast comes from the homie
Zilla Rocca, who just put up the premier episode of
Zilla Rocca Radio. Featuring tracks from The Wu, Kanye West,
Theory Hazit and his own group, Clean Guns, Zilla offers up over an hour of great hip hop. I guarantee it's better than any hour of music you'll hear on traditional radio. Here's the link to Zilla's podcast:
