Jimmy Castor Bunch - Troglodyte
This is the latest in the ongoing series of links submitted by my coworker Mike. The crate diggers in the crowd are no doubt familiar with the Jimmy Castor Bunch, a group that has been sampled by everyone from N.W.A. to Christina Aguilera. For those of you in the New York area, you may recognize the spoken word intro ("What we gonna do right here is go back...Way Back...Back into time!") as the sample that Mister Cee uses on his Throwback at Noon radio show.
The video itself features a midget caveman, portrayed by Lil' John Rinaldi, and his encounter with Bertha, "one of the Butt sisters." It doesn't quite have the budget of a Hype Williams video, but it's pretty amazing nonetheless.
