Ams Uno featuring Missing Element - The Murk You
That video is the latest single from Rhode Island rapper Ams Uno, a name that should be familiar to all of you underground heads after his work with backpacker icon Sage Francis and ClokWorx. The last I had heard of him, he had some sort of dispute with Commonwealth Records over the distribution of his last album. It seems they've settled their differences, as the Massachusetts-based label is promoting his latest album, Animated Stagnation, due out on September 18th.
I like this new single, but there's an even better track on the album called Eighty Ate Emcees, sampling Bobby Womack's Across 110th Street, which you can hear on Commonwealth's MySpace page.
