Fam-Lay- Da Beeper Record
This video would have been hot if it was released in the summer of '06, but why did they bother making it a full year after the single came out? Then again, with the concept jacked from last fall's Hewlett Packard ad campaign, maybe it actually was filmed back when Da Beeper Record originally came out. Fam's career has been mismanaged pretty much every step of the way since he hooked up with Pharrell back in '98, so this would seem to be par for the course. I have my doubts that his album Dat Missile, currently scheduled for late October, will ever see the light of day.
I bring this up mainly as an excuse to post a rather amusing remix of the track that was passed along to me this weekend:
