New rule: If you can get Sean Price to drop an original verse on your demo tape, I'll put the track up no questions asked. In this case, it's a track from Brooklyn rapper One Dae. I have to admit I've never heard of this dude, though apparently he was a big enough name for The Source to find some print space in between Willie Esco ads to do a feature on him back in '98.
This song is actually a couple of months old, but he's been putting in some serious hustle on MySpace to get it promoted recently. Here it is:
"It's the first song I ever did that made me want to kill myself. I wrote no less than 11 16's and still couldn't burn P. Fuck it. Must be my lack of melanin."
Seems kind of suspect to not only admit that you got served by another MC on your own track, but to then blame it on being white. Sean P does come correct as usual, though.
