For those interested, you can find more details on the alleged confrontation between Uncle Murda and Papoose's crew over at Miss Info's site. Also, be sure to check out part two of Murda's interview if that first video didn't sate your appetite for televised ignorance (though I will admit that Murda's reference to Papoose a.k.a. the Geico Lizard made me laugh).
I'll be back tomorrow with some actual music, but in the meantime it was hard to pass up on this one. In case any of us were actually buying into this soap opera rap beef, the suspension of disbelief is quickly shattered when Uncle Murda takes time out to promote his new single with Jay-Z. Let's be honest, if Murda was keeping it as real as he claims he is, he damn sure wouldn't take the time to put together a Real World-style confessional. I can't say that I expected Stack Bundles' death to put an end to the hardbody posturing of NY MCs - if the body count from 2006 didn't accomplish that, Stack's death won't either. But it would have been nice to go a couple of weeks without seeing another rapper use violence to promote his music career.
Since when did real gangsters start making MySpace videos?
