Work kicked my ass again today, and the chances of me retiring young are looking pretty bleak right now. So I'm going to hit you off with a couple of promo items and spend the rest of the night lamenting the sad state of my 401k:

First up, Mick Boogie is on the verge of releasing another free mixtape. Due out this Friday, the press release says that Unbelievable is going to be, "Hosted by Sean 'Diddy' Combs . . . and features Biggie material remixed the way it was supposed to be done." Maybe it will make up for the fact that I dropped $18.00 on the Duets album. Here's one of the tracks off of the mixtape, featuring Nas:

Can't Forget About Big

And for those of you who haven't heard it yet, Canadian rapper/singer/songwriter k-os has made his latest album, Atlantis - Hymns for Disco, available for listening up on his MySpace page. Click here to check it out. Not the kind of album I'm normally into, but there are a couple of nice tracks.

For more k-os, go watch his newest video, Sunday Morning. (youtube link)

Kanye put out a video for that Throw Some D's remix. Here's the youtube link for that. In other Kanye news, he just made the front page of cnn.com for spending $3,900 on takeout.

Finally, via OhWord, an updated version of NWA's classic: Help The Police.
