Dame Dash promoting his new clothing line, CEO. Cazals and Shearling hats? Was that even a good look in the 80's?

Some links I've been meaning to share with y'all from the past couple of weeks:

Skillz - Show me What You Got Freestyle (direct link to mp3 on spinemagazine.com)

Floodwatch has a couple of tracks from Lord Finesse, including my favorite Finesse track, No Gimmicks with the Blastmaster KRS-1.

Discobelle's tribute to Disco D

Lil Wayne meets Black Sabbath - Stuntin' Like My Sabbath. (spotted at Souled On)

The Fader has a great article on Miami's MLK Day Parade, during which DJs, armed with upwards of 108 speakers, battle each other for the crowd's attention,

The RIAA's booth at this year's Consumer Electronics Show: Out To Lunch

Dallas Penn and OhWord's Rafi Kam hit up the Sundance festival.

Stephen Marley featuring Damien Marley and Phantom (beatboxing): Traffic Jam (link to Windows Media Stream)

That combo of beatboxing and reggae gave me flashbacks to this: Lil' Vicious and Doug E. Fresh -- Freaks (google video). There's something slightly disturbing about an 11 year old singing an ode to punani, but the song's dope.
