I've been getting a lot of new visitors from Philly over the past couple of months, so this one's for y'all. Some tracks from the new DJ Whoo Kidd/Peedi Peedi mixtape
Torture:
Smile At Me
Callin' My Jack feat. Brucie B (yeah,
that Brucie B)
Peedi claims that his solo album is complete, but the album's already been pushed back for over a year. The current release date is set for Spring 2007. I'd say its more likely we'll see a Roots album with him as an official member before we see the Peedi solo album.
You can pick up Peedi Crakk and Whoo Kid's
Torture (Crack is Back) over at mixtapeone. Its loaded with annoying Whoo Kid sound effects and drops, but if you're a fan of Peedi you'll be able to put up with it.

If you haven't already gotten it, Stones Throw Records is offering the new Madlib/Talib Kweli album for free.
Download Liberation here. For a free album, its pretty good. There are a couple of songs where Talib raps completely off beat, but other than that its a solid release.
Bruce Wang put up an hour-long mix featuring Fatlip, Hi-Tek, Masta Ace, DJ Quik and a bunch of underground hip hop acts.
Download the Adoru mix here.
