Big ups to Ian over at Notes From a Different Kitchen for sending some traffic our way over the weekend.
As those of you who were monitoring the P2P services over the weekend no doubt know by now, Jay-Z's
Kingdom Come leaked on Saturday. I'm always paranoid that the federales might catch me ridin' dirty on the internet, so I'll probably wait another week until the retail version drops before I grab a copy. The early talk seems to be that the album doesn't quite live up to the hype, with more than a few people saying the beats on The Game's album are better than what you'll find on Jay's album, which includes four tracks produced by Dr. Dre.
Each new track from the album that I hear is better than the last one, though, so I can't imagine this won't be one of the top 3 albums of the year.
I'm not going to put up any of the leaked tracks (you can
go here and
here for all of that). Instead, I'm putting up a couple of remixed Jay-Z tracks, courtesy of my man Sunny. These came from the remix album
Hova Reborn, produced by Jerzee, which takes a bunch of Jay-Z verses and mixes them with songs from the 80's. Sounds corny, but the songs are all pretty dope. I couldn't find out much information on Jerzee, so if anyone knows anything about him, please hit me up.
The first track takes Jay's verses from
Moment of Clarity and drops them over Cutting Crew's

The second track mixes The Eagle's
