Banksy, recently in the news for his guerrilla remix of Paris Hilton's cd, held a VIP Preview for his new art display in Los Angeles last week. While Banksy deservedly gets some criticism for selling out -- his work has a decidedly anticapitalism slant to it, yet he sells his pieces for upwards of $100,000 and has allegedly done marketing work for Puma -- his art is still pretty dope. I think his work is a pretty good counterpoint to the argument that graffiti is not art. A couple of blogs have put up pictures of the art show, go check 'em out:
