This picture made me laugh. That's all, it has nothing to do with today's post. Taken from DJ Benzi.

I wasn't going to discuss the whole Ras Kass/Game situation, but now that there are interviews and homemade movies going around I figure its worth at least mentioning. For those who don't know, The Game rolled up on Ras Kass in a club last week, backed by roughly 30 members of The Black Wall Street (a.k.a. Game's security team and posse of weed carriers). Apparently, The Game felt that the Ras Kass song Caution was aimed at him, so naturally his response was to wait two years and then try to jump Ras in the club after offering to buy him drinks.

Though both sides deny it, there's really no way to see this as anything other than a publicity stunt. The morning after the incident, The Game was hitting up websites and radio stations, telling everyone he broke Ras' jaw. Coincidentally, the promotional push for his new album The Doctor's Advocate kicked into high gear the same week this fight jumped off.

It is a little surprising to me to see Ras Kass involved with this. Lyrically he's one of the best, though habitually slept-on, MCs out there and he would have no problem battling The Game on the mic. His album sales have never matched his talent, but he's never resorted to publicity stunts before (other than the Free Ras Kass movement). How else can you explain this video, though? In it, Ras and his crew are waving around guns, gang signs and bullets while talking about how they are going to kill The Game. This thing looks like one of those Al Qaeda videos with a lot more swearing in it.

Let's be honest. If you really had any intention of killing a man (or even just handing him a beatdown), would you make a video of yourself holding a gun while you are talking about murder? And then make it available on the internet? Stop snitching on yourselves.

Of course, if Ras can put out a video, you know The Game can put together a video crew to film a response as well. And you better believe its going to have a soundtrack to go along with it. Here it is, complete with the announcement that his album is coming in November.
