On a seperate topic, its been almost a week since I last discussed any beefs in hip hop, so we're way overdue. As you probably heard by now, 40 Cal (Dipset baggage handler) and Loon (former Bad Boy replacement for Ma$e) got into a scuffle in a barbershop a few weeks ago. According to reports, Loon was upset with 40 Cal after he heard Cal drop a verse on a Dipset mixtape talking trash about Loon. Loon was driving around Harlem, apparently saw 40 Cal getting a touchup at the barbershop, and pulled over. He then pulled a shovel out of his trunk, walked into the shop and proceeded to swing on 40 Cal with the shovel. Loon then claims that 40 Cal ran out of the shop. 40 Cal, however, says after taking a few shots to the head from the back of a shovel, he got up and began to punch Loon until Loon ran off. Unless there was a security camera in the barbershop, we may never know what really happened. For more details, listen to this interview from Hot 97, in which Loon and 40 Cal both call into the show:
