Last night I was going through a bunch of old tracks I grabbed from Get Your Bootleg On and came across one that I thought was a pretty amusing concept: Snoop Dogg mashed up with Beck. The mix, done by DJ NickyT, mashes Beck's Loser with Snoop and Pharrell's Drop it Like Its Hot. I suspect at least a few of you will hate this, but give it a listen anyway:

In other news, the Source continues its descent into obscurity. The long-delayed auction of the shares of The Source was postponed once again, after three creditors filed a bankruptcy petition for $560,000. So whoever were to win the auction would owe the creditors this money. The Source wasn't a particularly attractive investment opportunity to begin with, and this doesn't help matters. The Source hasn't been particularly relevant since the magazine started giving positive reviews to the Benzino-backed Almighty RSO, but its still kind of sad to see the magazine end like this.
