For those of you who didn't get the memo, today's pretty much the most important day of the year -- my birthday. Today is also the summer solstice, the first day of summer and the longest day of the year. I'm going to be spending the majority of the day pounding down cheap beers and even cheaper birthday cake in an attempt to distract myself from the fact that I ain't getting any younger.
Between that and the fact that I stayed up to watch Shaq get another ring, its going to be a short post for today. To keep you busy, here are a few tracks you should check out:
The online site for The Fader magazine has
an hour-long mix up, featuring all of the artists from their latest issue.
NahRight.com has Lupe Fiasco's Kick Push 2 track. Somewhat appropriate, as June 21st is also
Go Skateboarding Day. Seriously.
A new track from The Roots at RazorBladeRunner (third link down)
Finally,
here's a video of Connie Chung who has apparently lost her mind. The singing is horrible, but its worth watching to see the piano dismount (around the 1:36 mark).
