I don't know how many of you watch Lost, but last night's season finale was crazy. Four-toed giants, psychotic hillbillies, Evangeline Lilly running around the jungle, explosions, it had it all (except any actual resolutions to plotlines). You definitely need to go cop the first season DVDs if you've never watched the show. Sadly, the 2 hour long season finale cut into the time that I usually spend typing up these posts, so I won't be rambling on as long as I usually do.
It seems only fitting, since I've spent the past couple of hours contemplating the supernatural occurences on Lost, that I put up a track from a rapper named Supernatural. Back around 1994, Supernatural and Madd Skillz were blowing up on the mixtape scene. They seemed like they were both going to be the next great rappers on the scene, but they never really lived up to their potential. Skillz did drop a pretty good solo album (
From Where???) and is ghostwriting for half the industry, but Supernatural fell off pretty hard.
Part of the problem for Supernat is that he is great at freestyling but has had trouble putting an actual song together, not unlike Freestyle Friday champion and former Ruff Ryder Jin. Supernatural is legendary among the backpackers for battling and defeating Juice Crew member Craig G. He's apparently done well enough for himself financially, as he has been featured on MTV's Cribs, and has managed to put out two records. Check him out:
