For all you Dipset heads out there, you can now buy a Stop Swagger Jacking tshirt. The point has already been made by someone else, but I think it bears repeating: the act of wearing a "Stop Swagger Jacking" shirt is, in itself, an act of swagger jacking.

The whole concept of "swagger jacking," at least in the way that Dipset is using it, is ridiculous to me. The majority of Dipset's fanbase use their slang all the time -- you only have to spend about 5 seconds on most hip hop blogs to find the phrase "no homo," and around here you will seen tons of their fans wearing the "Diplomats" tshirt. So it seems ridiculous to me that they would direct a stop-swagger-jacking-movement toward the people that are actually out there buying their albums and supporting them.

Even more ridiculous is that Dipset themselves are some of the biggest swagger jackers around. Jim Jones dresses up as some sort of hipster gang banger and the rest of the Dipset make references in their lyrics to being part of the Bloods, but you won't find any real Blood gang accepting them. That's actually a good thing, because there would be nothing more absurd than a bunch of platinum and gold-selling rappers involved in a Colors-style driveby. Besides that, you've got Cam'ron swagger jacking Mr. T, The Pink Panther and Dr. Seuss' nursery rhyme flow. Cam's even attempting to jack Jay-Z's swagger, but his text messages to Beyonce don't seem to be working.

To be honest, if a Stop Swagger Jacking movement were to take off, there would be very few rappers out there who wouldn't be targeted. Every rapper that comes along has been, to some extent, influenced by all the rappers before them. Is there any mainstream rapper -- including Juelz, J.R. Writer and the rest of Dipset -- that's come out in the past 5 years that hasn't emulated Biggie, Tupac, Jay-Z or Nas to some extent?

For today's track, I'm putting up an example of Cam jacking the swagger of the A-Team. This one is from back in the day, before he switched up his delivery and became a parody of himself:
