In case you missed it, Snoop Dogg and 5 of his associates were arrested at London's Heathrow Airport last week after a fight broke out between his crew and the police (you can see a photo of them in the airport here). The conflict began after Snoop's entourage attempted to enter the British Airways business/first class lounge but were denied access, due to the fact that they were flying coach. Snoop himself was flying first class and was allowed to enter the first class lounge, so perhaps the rest of them just assumed they'd be flying first class too. Maybe they should have bumrushed Snoops' penny-pinching ass instead of the police and saved themselves some jail time and bail money.
The end result of all of this is that Snoop is now out on bail and barred from all future British Airways flights. No word on whether he sprung the rest of his crew out on bail, but my guess is they'll be sitting in coach class until the hearing in May.
Got a mashup today which I think fits with in well with Snoop's airport adventure. This is a mashup by Party Ben, of Snoop's Drop It Like Its Hot and Whole Lotta Love by Britain's own Led Zeppelin. I was never a big fan of the original Neptunes beat on this track -- it was so minimal it was boring to me. I find the Led Zep guitars are a significant improvement:
