I know everyone out there has been asking themselves, "When's Farnsworth Bentley going to stop playing the background and put out a record?" I've been waiting for him to drop a track ever since I saw him busting moves in Puffy's videos back in the day. I mean, this dude had Sean Combs show him how to spit rhymes, so you know Bentley is going to come correct with some tight lyrics.
Alright, this track I've got here is about as bad as you'd expect it to be -- perhaps even worse, because it has a pseudo-reggaeton beat (produced by your boy Kanye) to really put it over the top. At one point, Bentley raps about kicking game to a girl. If I were the type to use emoticons, I would have inserted a "raised-eyebrow smiley" after that last sentence.
That being said, I can't really hate on this dude. He's somehow managed to convince a record label (Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music) to sign him to a deal, has his own line of umbrellas and is making the most of his ongoing 15 minutes of fame. So check out his single, off of
Complex and J.Period Present - G.O.O.D Music - The Class Of '06.
