So back around 1998, Snoop Dogg and Capone-N-Noreaga showed up at Funk Master Flex's radio show uninvited. Flex was happy to have them on, but he had an interview he needed to finish up. In the meantime, CNN and Snoop sat in Hot 97's green room and smoked up. By the time they got on the air, they were a bit high -- not really newsworthy, as the three of them are probably high more often than not. However, they got on the mic and did a freestyle. None of them are known for their intricate lyrics, and the combo of freestyling and weed didn't do much to help their image.
Things start out ok, with the three of them rapping over a Jay-Z beat, but it eventually descends into a rambling, off-beat 8 minute freestyle. I had it lying around, though, so I figured I might as well put it up. You can never hear too many Snoop freestyles, right?
Apologies for the audio quality -- I took it off of a 7 year old cassette (and there's a loud beep at the 10 second mark, so watch out for that).
