PE - Mic Cheque
It's been a minute since I've had the opportunity to post anything from PE aka He's Hers aka (Not That) Chris Brown aka My Man from the Philippines, but he's been hard at work this New Year. Having already dropped two new songs off of his upcoming album Lonely Walks the Prophet, including the above Mic Cheque admonishment to all verbally deficient emcees, he's on pace for a great year. The last time I saw him, he was digging through the crates during Has-Lo's Fat Beats appearance, and it seems that he's put those records to good use because the instrumentals he's pumped out since then have been incredible.
(Can anyone name that "spittin' dialect" sample used in Mic Cheque? EPMD? I can't place it.)
