The WHOevers featuring Chandler London - Ultraviolet
Last year's Spectacular Vernacular from Chicago duo The WHOevers remains one of my favorite boom bap imitations in recent memory. For this latest release, the WHOevers switch their style up to something a little more modern with verses delivered in a stuttering, double time flow. As much as I dig what they're doing here, fellow Chicagoan Chandler London steals the show with his drug fueled guest appearance.
Chandler London is new to me, so I looked him up on youtube and found that he had a handful of suprisingly well produced videos. Here's the best of the bunch:
