As part of the official rollout for My Man Shafe's debut album, Who's That?! My Man Shafe!, we've got some live footage of Shafe performing one of the singles from the album, Red Knight Going Down. The footage was shot by Glass Canon Film, and should give you a pretty good feel for the kind of energy that Shafe is bringing on the album. Also, if you didn't catch it the first time around you can cop the mp3 version of RKGD over here.
As Shafe himself described it during an interview with RhymeStreet, "My music is soul so I want [listeners] to feel the pain & struggle, but also walk away feeling good, knowing that my joints are fun & funky and you can vibe and boogie to them. Just something to put a smile on people’s faces." That sums up the album as well as anything that I am capable of writing, so I'll just direct you all over to the bandcamp page for Who's That?! My Man Shafe! Please go grab a copy of it, I guarantee it will be one of the best albums you'll hear all summer.
While you're waiting for that download to finish up, you can stream it in its entirety right here:
