It's hard to believe that there was once a time, just a few years ago, when the only place Mally's music was getting burn was his friend Major's bootlegging site kissmyassplz. Nowadays the kid has so much going on in his career that he can run into Common (see below), and the encounter barely ranks on the list of things that he's accomplished this month. The above video, from his earlier project with The Sundance Kid, was just the start of things for December. He also released another single with fellow Minnesotans 925ve and producer Last Word:
Perhaps even more importantly, in a move that seemed destined to happen, Mally has begun taking steps toward an official partnership with the Rhymesayers Crew. Ever since Slug rocked a Mally t-shirt on stage back in May and then made a cameo in the Heir Time video, it was clear there was a mutual interest and that culminated in the recent announcement that Mally will be performing on the Rhymesayer's Welcome To Minnesota Tour early next year:
