Its Day Two of our week long attempt to be like every other blog on the internet, with our Year End Top 10 Lists. Today's list is: Videos on the Internet That Made Me Laugh in 2005. Here goes:
1) My dog bit my vagina! The video, taken from a show on Animal Planet starts out a little slow, but stick with it. An angry man, a crazy woman with a tenuous grasp of the English language, an out of control dog and Genital biting are all included in this video.
2) Are You Ok Little Man? This video is from Scare Tactics, a hidden camera show where the goal is to scare the crap out of people while also completely humiliating them. Wholesome, family entertainment. In this clip, a rather effiminate man is convinced that a little demon man has been created in a labratory.
3) The Entire House was Dork-Sided! On Trading Spouses, they take a parent from one family and put them in the home of a family with a lifestyle that is different from what they are used to. In this clip, the show took a fundamentalist lunatic and put her into the home of non-believers.
4) Let's see what happens when I put on the new Durex... Its an ad, for Durex. You'll probably flinch if you're a guy watching this.
5) Baby, I'm F***ing Scaring Myself! Video of Paris Hilton's boyfriend/chaffeur treating his $200,000 Bentley like a bumper car.
6) George Bush Does Not Care About Black People. Kanye West does a little political ad lib during a fund raiser while Mike Meyers and Chris Tucker wonder whether this is going to affect their acting comebacks.
7) Boom Goes The Dynamite! I think this video is actually from sometime before 2005, but I never saw it until this year. A budding sports reporter crashes and burns on live tv.
8) Its really tough to control a canoe when you're out in this. News reporter goes out in a small canoe to brave the flooding waters in New Jersey. Even braver are the two men who wade through the two inches of water, right in front of her, while it is being aired on live tv.
9) Mr. Pibb + Red Vines = Crazy Delicious! Probably the only Saturday Night Live skit that made me laugh all year. Probably not as funny as all the hype around this clip would suggest, but hey, its something amusing on SNL, and how often can you say that?
10) Matt, You're Being Glib! Everybody's favorite Scientologist debates NBC Today Host Matt Lauer over the nuances of mental health. Bonus: Darth Cruise on Oprah's Couch
Bonus: So ummm...I wanna fuckin' go crazy with you. Pat O'Brien, host of Entertainment Tonight, asks a woman out for a night of some good, clean fun. This is actually his voicemail, not a video, but its good enough to make an exception for this list.
