We've got nothin' but love for ya today, with a couple of songs from Has-Lo and Chachi that were released over the weekend.

First up is Philly emcee Has-Lo, most recently seen dropping color coded verses on Zilla's Full Spectrum, who just put out a new EP, Illegally Yours. Featuring previously unreleased material, the EP is intended to hold Has' fanbase over until the release of his next full album, Conversation B, due out in November. Each of the five tracks on the project are pretty solid, but my favorite is Asians Love Me. It reminds me of the old school style of storytelling, a la Slick Rick, that has largely gone by the wayside in today's hip hop, with Has-Lo offering up a tongue in cheek tale of romance. Check it out:

You can grab a free copy of Has-Lo's Illegally Yours EP over on Mello Music Group's bandcamp page.

Offering up a slightly more serious take on relationships, my favorite Boston College alum Chachi just put out the following song produced by DJ Head Honcho. Anyone who's sacrificed their love life for the sake of their career can relate to this one:
