L PRO - Good Morning
I caught this clip from L PRO over on Kalae AllDay's facebook page, but I don't have a whole lot of details on this guy other than the basics listed on his bandcamp page. Hailing from Portland, Oregon, this is the first single off his debut EP, Equilibrium. Hard to believe that this is L PRO's debut, because with the scratched vocals, Primo-esque beat and his delivery everything about this dude sounds like it came straight out of the 90's (and that's about the highest compliment I can give a new emcee).
The EP is only five songs deep, but it's well worth a look. All of the beats on it are dope, and lyrically L PRO remains pretty consistent throughout. You can download it for free over here.
And speaking of Kalae, as she inspired this post, here's a behind the scenes look at her upcoming video for 20 Kit Kats 4 the Riff Raff. I'm not a huge fan of these preview videos, but the song in the background is fire:
