I know a fair amount of you reading this also check out clapcowards on the regular, so I may be rehashing things a bit. But for those who don't know, Zilla Rocca is on the verge of releasing his latest solo project, Nights & Weekends. Zilla's been talking about this project in some form or another (referred to at one point under the code name "Fallback Friday") for a couple of years now, and after getting a sneak preview of the album I can say it's been well worth the wait. It's a hip hop album unlike anything else you're hearing right now.

In any event, Zilla has grand plans for this project, including the filming of a (relatively) big budget video shot in Super 8 format. Zilla hasn't yet reached big baller status yet, however, so he's started up a Kickstarter campaign to raise money. Those of you willing to really open up your checkbooks can even get a custom song written by ZR himself. The full details are over here, so far the response has been quite good.
