If Sony's just going to be handing out million dollar record deals to any random pale skinned chick who happens to pick up a microphone, they could do a lot worse than this girl here. The use of the word "Snow" in your name is typically a strong warning sign for potential gimmickry, but California emcee Snow Tha Product (originally going by the name Snow White until Disney hit her off with a Cease and Desist) looks practically Bahamadian compared to Kreayshawn's Fisher Price rhyming.
Philly's Buddy Leezle describes Drug Dealer as "Boyz N The Hood meets Holy Mountain," and, as strange as that combination sounds, it's a rather accurate description. Even stranger is that the concept actually turned into something really dope. This is the first single off of Neon Kusch, Buddy Leezle's upcoming "A/V Project."
Any song that opens with the line, "Fuck a gun, I got my lungs and a pen" is okay by me. Illinois emcee Black Logic gets an assist from Snotty Pippen of The Highest Low, who filmed the video.
(Shoutout to State Champs for putting me up on the Buddy Leezle and Black Logic videos.)
