Mondega featuring Bambu - Music for the People
I've been a fan of L.A. emcee Bambu for a while now but his recent Los Angeles, Philippines mixtape, a collection of verses over classic DJ Muggs beats, elevated him to a whole new level in my opinion. One of the few emcees out right now that is able to drop real knowledge in his rhymes without preaching, Bam is my favorite artist to come out of the West Coast in a long time. His next album comes out on Friday, but until then this guest appearance with Mondega will have to do.
And while I was going through Bambu's blog, I saw this video from the Hawaiian group Angry Locals. I can't say I've ever heard of them before, but the verse from Big Mox is kinda dope. Check it out:
