Chachi - Message Clear
Last month I wrote about my friend Charlie "Chachi" Carvalho's latest release, his first full album, In Dust Real Evolution. At the time, I mentioned that the album was a reflection of a lot of what Charlie had been going through recently in his personal life, including the passing of his father and the loss of his job. Watching the above video for Message Clear, one might consider those personal troubles and see this as a meditation on a path Charlie could've taken with his life in reaction to what's he's been through. Or you can put all that aside, and just see the video as a rap interpretation of a typical Law & Order episode. Either way, it's dope.
