Vertual Vertigo - Nice
The homies from State Champs put me up on this new video from the group Vertual Vertigo (consisting of Ezekiel 38, Cerebral Vortex and DJ Japandrew), titled simply enough "Nice." I don't know if it's Vortex's N.W.A.-era L.A. gear, the bugged out beat and visuals or the fact that there's some actual record scratching going on in the background, but this one really reminded me of the videos you used to catch late night on cable t.v. back in the early 90's. I half expected Ralph Mcdaniels to come in with a voice over at the end of it.
Nice is off of Ezekiel 38's new album, Sound of the Zeekers, which you can cop for free over on bandcamp.
