At Tourrettes without Regrets, a monthly slam poetry show held in Oakland, there is a freestyle battle that takes place. It usually doesn't stray too far from what you see in 8 Mile, but recently a jelly donut, aptly named Jelly D, showed up and dominated the competition (well, dominated until he lost after the sixth battle).
If you lose in a freestyle battle to a dude wearing a pastry outfit, maybe its time to give up your dreams of being the next Rabbit.
