Suff Daddy & Adidas - Then, Now, Forever
Above is the first promo for Adidas' new Then Now Forever line. I'm not a huge sneaker head, but I gather the idea is that they're going to be putting out new kicks with the old colorways from the 70's and 80's. This ain't hypebeast, though, so why am I posting sneaker commercials? Because Adidas reached out to longtime homie Suff Daddy to do the music for the promo. The onetime member of the Digital Invaders is starting to make some real big moves in his career.
Eminem could learn a lesson from Suff: If you're going to sell out to a corporation, at least pick one that has some roots in the culture of hip hop.
