What better way to get through yet another winter storm than by warming up with some new music from a few of our favorite artists?

First up is Alex Ludovico, who spits his trademark "depressing emo-rap" (his words, not mine) over The XX's Intro:

Next is yet another solid release from Chicago's The Highest Low, with a beat by Nick Arcade. You'll have to shell out .99 cents over at bandcamp to get the full mp3, but it's worth it. In the meantime, enjoy the stream:

(For those of you reading this through our RSS feed, you'll need to come to the site to use bandcamp's embedded player.)

Finally, a couple of new tracks from Mally (who, as a lifelong resident of Minnesota, likely would laugh at the small amount of snow and ice that Jersey's struggled to get through today). First is video of Mally doing a live performance of Lights Off, a song we featured a couple of months ago:

And here's the latest installment in Mally's monthly series of singles produced by the Sundance Kid (which, due to an unforgiving New Year's Day hangover, I overlooked when it was first released), Cloud Culture. As with everything these two have put out together, it's tremendous. Peep:
